I believe that work should not be done out of pity for others but out of interest, it should be something that you personally enjoy and you take it as a hobby. I'm hardworking and I can work in odd hours, competent as I always the best for my clients, passionate as I love my profession, approachable as I believe health services are for everyone regardless of gender, tribe and so no segregation but being able to work and help everyone who needs the services, full of confidence in order to make the patients feel motivated with the kind of help you are offering them, innovative in such a case that sometimes you can find yourself in a situation where there are limited resources but yet you still need to give the best treatment to your patients and this requires innovative and creative skills which I possess, and also leadership skills for example I was once a sports director during my college days which required me to be organising activities within the college as well as other colleges. So with these qualities I believe I can help move an organisation forward.
Location Preference: I'm comfortable living in suburbs so that I can reach out for people who can't afford to travel long distances to access physiotherapy services. So being in suburbs to me is like in the middle to reach out for all kinds of people

I am Andrea Pelliccioni, a 27 years old physiotherapist (HCPC - CSP registered). I have been working autonomously, till the end of September, in USI, one of the best MSK outpatient unit in Rome (Italy), and since I became a member of their team I did my best to add elements of value to the quality of the service. I have a large in-outpatient experience gained by this and my previous jobs and I am used to working in a multidisciplinary setting, managing different clinical conditions, side by side with all the other healthcare professionals. I also provided a rehabilitation service for different categories of young athletes (up to 18 years old) at S. S. Romulea Soccer Team in Rome between 2016 and 2017, both in studio and on the field, gaining a large experience in assessing and dealing with sport-related pathologies. If you are looking for expertise, qualifications and work ethic, these are all features I have developed as a physiotherapist doing my job for four years and during the academic internship. Here are the aspects of my background: -  Assessing patients’ physical abilities through evaluative procedures and functional ability tests; -  Hands-on experience in planning and implementing programmes of physiotherapy; healing exercise, massage, instructions, manual therapy, the use of electro-therapeutic and additional mechanical equipment; -  Establishing treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnoses and adjusting the therapeutic plans in order to get to them; -  Updating daily the clinical records with a written report of the assessment and the rehabilitative sessions; -  Managing the bureaucracy in connection to the patient’s medical insurance; -  Supervising new hired colleagues and managing own case-load. My continuing professional development includes Manual Therapy based on an Osteopathic Concept, Hydrotherapy, Postural Re-education, Clinical Pilates, Manual Linfatic Drainage, Sport-related courses (Neuro-Taping, Functional Adhesive Taping, Muscle Injuries) and more. You can find specific details in my CV (attached). I consider the patient’s point of view as an essential element to build a healthy therapeutic relationship and get the best compliance to the treatment, that from this perspective becomes a team-work based on the respect of people, their values and culture. Both patients and advisors have praised my strong communication skills: I am able to effectively explain procedures to patients and even when I am carrying a particularly heavy caseload, I always take time to answer their questions and make sure they feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plan. For all these reasons I would really appreciate if you could take me in consideration, in order to grow together in terms of quality of assistance and empathy with people. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Andrea Pelliccioni Email: andreapelliccioni90@gmail.com Mobile: 07541023748

After completing my formal education, my current goal is to enter the workforce as both a new graduate musculoskeletal physiotherapist and accredited exercise physiologist to obtain as much clinical experience as possible. Using the theoretical and practical knowledge gained in both professions over the past 6 years of university study, I hope to affect positive change in the lives of those in need of my services. This includes utilising physiotherapy skills in the acute phase of injury to diagnose and treat, and applying knowledge in exercise physiology to manage their injury long term through exercise. Despite being a new graduate, I have gained much clinical experience over the past 5 years through student placements in both exercise physiology and physiotherapy. This includes being apart of numerous rehabilitation fields that involve working with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac and elderly patients. I therefore strongly believe I can be a great asset to your team in endorsing the necessary skills that you seek as a physiotherapist whilst being able to offer the added benefit of being able to provide exercise physiology services. I have previous experience working independently as an exercise physiologist and have had the opportunity to apply physiotherapy related skills in several sport coverage roles. In addition, five years of experience in the workforce in positions that require high customer service has enabled me to develop excellent communication skills and a professional work ethic where a key strength of mine is the ability to build rapport with clients of all demographics. Furthermore, I am an out-going and enthusiastic individual who is accustomed to working in a team environment as evident through my participation in various extra-curricular activities. Having played a variety of sports and sustaining many injuries myself, I have a strong passion and interest in the musculoskeletal field. After suffering an ACL rupture twice and going through the rehabilitation process of an ACL reconstruction, I understand how frustrating and discouraging an injury may be to an individual. As such, it allows me to empathise with this patient population where I have a strong motivation and desire to promote recovery through exercise rehabilitation. This is a key reason why I want to become a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. I wish to thrive upon the opportunity of working in a private clinic that is surrounded by experienced and knowledgeable health professionals that ultimately will help me to develop and grow as a physiotherapist. If you would like to know more about me or wish to see my CV, please do not hesitate to contact me.
